AD244 Series High Output Alternator Upgrade for 1997 and Newer GM Vehicles with 2.4L, 3.1L, 3.4L, and 3.8L Engines

Delco Type AD244 Series Alternators for Buick , Chevy , Oldsmobile , and Pontiac Vehicles

If you have a 2.4L, 3.1L, 3.4L, or 3.8L engine in a Buick Century, Lesabre, Park Avenue, Regal, Skylark; Chevy Cavalier, Impala, Malibu, Monte Carlo; Oldsmobile Achieva, Alero, Cutlass; or Pontiac Bonneville, Grand Am, Grand Prix, Sunfire you can now install the Larger AD244 series alternator. The larger AD244 series alternator will give you better, high output performance. To check for compatibility, see if the front bolt is parallel to the center rotor shaft and the rear bolt is perpendicular to the rotor shaft. The Larger AD244 series alt. has the two mounting bolts that both go parallel to the center rotor shaft.

U-Bracket featured on this page. Laser-cut for precision , this bracket allows for drop-in replacement of CS130D, AD230, and AD237 series that use the side-ways ear mount with AD244 alternators using the 2-foot 2-inch mount.
